Kingston College identifies and supports gifted students with access to a serious Canadian academic program, immersive learning, and global mentorship. Awards are limited each intake and reviewed individually.
Gifted students need more than standard lessons.
The Gifted & Talented Track combines our standard OSSD pathway with enrichment programming designed to stretch advanced students — without rushing them through age-appropriate content.
Awards are not handed out automatically. The Placement Quiz determines tier eligibility, but every applicant also speaks with an advisor as part of the review.

Entrance Assessment
An online academic and skills-based test — the same Placement Quiz used in admissions.
Step 2
Interview & Review
A short conversation with an advisor to understand motivations, goals, and the student's broader context.
Step 3
Award Offer
Full or partial scholarship offers — plus enrichment program placement for awarded students.
All applicants receive feedback. Students who do not receive a scholarship may still enrol in our standard programs.

Yes. The top 3% of applicants in our Placement Quiz may qualify for a full scholarship, the top 10% for a 50% award, and the top 20% for a 25% award. Scholarships are limited each intake and confirmed in writing in the offer letter.
